Oh boy! If it were only the Cranky Boss moments I endured throughout my business journey, it would have been simple! I have come to be known by a few names; Captain Shits is just another! But then there were the good names too! For instance, when I managed to find solutions to problems or fix things, I was suddenly MacGyver! Or the Maister! Heck, some of my staff even called me Lara Croft!
Truth be said though, it was all a bit of light-hearted fun with the names, and you will find throughout my site that I will refer to the crankiness a fair bit. That’s just because, whether in life or business, things don’t always go to plan, and after all, we are human and having those cranky moments are inevitable. I have certainly had my share, and I am sure you will agree you have had yours! I guess that’s what makes us resilient. The ability to overcome challenges and raise from the ashes like the phoenix! Moreover the ability to not throw in the towel and quit on a bad day, month or even year.
Having a business partner on board though, certainly helped share the load!
Having your own successful business is one of the most outstanding achievements one can have in their lifetime. Working Smarter not harder is absolute key. Both the journey and the end goal, makes the crankiness worth it.
There are three rules to avoid crankiness.
